Here are some old pictures of me doing Eagle American Self-Defense, a hybrid style of martial arts. I competed for two years in the San Diego Grand Nationals tournament, winning trophies each time. I hold the rank of red belt, although I'm currently out of practice since the instructor, Matthew Sconce, graduated and moved away in the summer of 2003.
Competing as a red belt (right after orange in the Eagle system), I won first place in the age 16-17 male beginning-belt sparring category and first in the corresponding forms category, plus overall Grand Champion for junior underbelt forms. \o/
